About Me
I grew up on a farm where the 1943 installed solid fuel AGA was the centre of family life. Baking jam tarts with my mother is one of my earliest memories. I began my catering career helping a family friend who catered for weddings and large parties and here my destined vocation was forming.

By the time I had completed my Hospitality degree, the travel bug had well and truly bitten.
‘Have knives, will travel’ was my motto. I travelled and worked worldwide cooking. The sheets and blankets side of Hospitality never appealed to me, it was the food - all the way!

After returning home, I continued cooking but this time for private clients. These adventures were as diverse as cooking for a grouse season in Northumbria and at Lincolnshire’s finest stately home, Burghley House, to Castles in the Scottish Highlands and holiday homes on the Cornish coast.

After these cooking adventures, I became a food developer based in Lincolnshire, creating meals for M&S, and salads for Waitrose.
I am now sharing and passing on my broad culinary appreciation of food through cookery demonstrations where I enjoy showing dishes to inspire and excite, whilst giving my guests confidence to ‘have a go’. I am also enjoying running my vintage china hire business which gives people an opportunity to enjoy my large china collection as much as I do
